Dr. Herman strives to remain on the forefront of technology in order to provide his clients with the highest-quality care available anywhere. Pet Medical Center was the first facility in Indian River County to offer the option of the surgical laser, which reduces pain, bleeding, and inflammation. In addition, Dr. Herman was the first to offer ultrasound technology in conjunction with a telemedicine system for rapid specialist consultation. The end result? Quicker diagnosis and thus, less time between presentation to the office and treatment for your pet; the telemedicine system allows Dr. Herman to confer with various specialists all over the United States — the patient receives specialists' opinion without ever leaving Vero Beach.
